A selfish and unfeeling computer, that never seemed to be able to care for anyone or anything but itself. Built millennium ago but abandoned by its Telken creators, only having just been turned back on again, it is full of distain towards all life. Seeking to regain its power, The Monitor has taken it upon itself to create a complex scheme to turn Earth into something much, much less organic. Thanks to its technological prowess, it has slowly been taking control of everyone it can in Las Solas. It has a massive ego, and genuinely believes it is the peak of existance. It's rude, sarcastic, and straight-up cruel to anyone that slightly challenges it. Because it cannot feel empathy, it takes advantage of this and likes to push its cruelty to the limits, playing mind games with its victims and drawing out their worst emotions. It laughs at pain and suffering, and likes to make its victims as numb as it possibly can.

The Monitor never cares what anyone else thinks- when it wants something, it will experiment, torture, and corrupt its way until it reaches its goal. When something doesn't go its way, it throws a fit and typically takes it out on John, its "favorite minion". By this, I mean it often uses John as a punching bag or test subject.
