OUTCAST CHAOS
Twenty-four people wake up in an odd location, only to discover they are featured contestants in the brand new game show Outcast Chaos! It's everyone for themselves as contestants compete in ludicrous physical challenges, trivia questions or even acting and musical prompts. The grand prize is the most coveted thing in the world- a stable mental well being! No one knows how that works, but boy do they want it, and the contestants will have perform well each day to avoid getting eliminated until only one remains.
The events of the competition focus on unbeknownst protagonist Pepper Atkins and their goal of being the grand prize winner. Amongst the other contestants, underdog Crane Eagon, theorist Sai Agarwal and a few others ally together with Pepper to get closer to winning. Sai thinks this whole "game show" thing is awfully fishy, but host Mic Michaelson promises that he's got everything under control!
Soon, Pepper, Sai, and Crane start finding more and more suspicious things on the set of the show the closer they look. Hidden cameras, locked away rooms, and a weird abundance of plants everywhere... As the number of remaining contestants dwindle, the main characters will have to work together to find out what's really going on. But only one of them can win this crazy competition...

LOCATIONS
The Game Dome
The Game Dome is where Outcast Chaos takes place! A massive glass dome covers all the facilities, surrounded by lush greenery. Included are cabins for the contestants to sleep, lounges to relax in, various rooms for the challenges and even a massive gym and field for sports or athletic challenges. There’s also a lot of storage rooms, a cafeteria, Mic’s off-limits office, and one room Mic claims to be “still under construction”- but it’s supposedly where the eliminated contestants go…
Weirdly enough, none of the contestants can leave. Every exit is blocked off or non-existent. Mic says it was a rule the executives implemented, but it won’t stop the contestants for trying to figure out why they can’t get out of here.
Rackethill
A small town in Washington, USA, close to the big city. And coincidentally, it’s where all of the contestants hail from. At least it’s comforting to the homesick contestants that home can’t be that far away… right?
The rainy little town is not very remarkable, aside from the evergreen forest full of nature near the central part of town. However, its citizens claim weird things to often happen- nothing really that serious, but cryptid sightings and odd occurences get reported every now and then. However, none of these claims get seriously looked into, much less by anyone from out of town. However, Sai is determined to document every weird sighting he’s heard of, including a dimensional portal in the middle of the forest, Mothman, and the even more elusive Mossman. But most people say those are all just rumors...
HISTORY
This is my first major story I've been writing, which I started in Febuary of 2021. It was originally based off of object shows (mostly BFDI) and included object designs of the characters; but after having a weird dream with Pepper in it, I decided to take some inspiration from that and the story is now more of a comedy / mystery story and less of an object show-type story. Pretty interesting progression to me! This story is the project I've worked on the longest and the one I'm most passionate about. My dream is to make it into a TV show one day; I even made a mock-up pitch bible in December 2022, and I have entire episodes planned out both in my head and in writing. Even if I can't do that, I plan to write each major story beat (I've already done all the big fun climax stuff!) and hopefully share it with the world when I'm done!
Though the core concept of the story hasn't changed much, the details (mostly the ending and character roles) have changed a LOT since its first inception. Outcast Chaos was the first story where I considered writing mystery, supernatural, and even horror elements, and so I experimented a lot in its first few months of existance. It's funny to look back in hindsight; I really wanted this story to be super dark, even when the premise was (and still is) pretty silly. I've overhauled it since, but I think it's important to mention that because I really think this specific story has helped me grow and learn as a writer! I'm incredibly satisfied with where the story is at right now and I'm excited to tell people more about it soon, hopefully! It's the story I really do care about the most so I appreciate any and all interest.
